The Fairest Way to Advertise Your Minecraft Server

No fixed prices. No hidden fees. Every bid is public.

Five sponsored slots on the Minecraft Index home page, filled by transparent auction every two weeks. The top 5 bids win. Nothing more complicated than that.

What You Get

How It Works

  1. 1

    Place a bid

Enter any dollar amount you're comfortable with. All bids are public, so you can see exactly where you stand on the leaderboard.

  2. 2

    Watch the leaderboard

The leaderboard updates in real time. See who else is bidding, raise your bid to secure your position, or decide the slot isn't worth it. The data is all there.

  3. 3

    Win a slot

When the auction closes, the top 5 bids win. Higher bid = higher position on the home page. Position 1 is top of the section.

  4. 4

    Pay & go live

Winners receive a payment link within hours of the auction closing. Pay within 24 hours and your server goes live for the full two-week period.

Why It's Different

Fixed pricing on other sites

  • You pay a fixed rate whether demand is high or low
  • No visibility into who else is paying or what they paid
  • Larger servers can lock in slots indefinitely
  • Price set by the platform, not the community

Minecraft Index auction

  • Market rate set by bidders, fair by definition
  • Full public leaderboard, no information asymmetry
  • Every auction is a fresh chance: slots reset every two weeks
  • You decide what a slot is worth to you

Common Questions

What if I win but don't pay within 24 hours?

If payment isn't received within 24 hours of the auction closing, your bid is skipped and the slot is offered to the next highest bidder at their bid amount. The process continues down the leaderboard until all slots are filled. Accounts that fail to pay after winning are banned from bidding in future auctions.

Is my bid shown publicly?

Yes. All bids are fully public and visible on the leaderboard in real time. You can see every bid, every bidder, and exactly where you stand at any moment.

Can I bid on multiple slots?

Each server can only hold one bid: if you bid again with the same server, it raises your existing bid rather than creating a second entry. If you own multiple servers, each can have its own independent bid, so a multi-server owner could have several entries in the top 5, one per server.

What does "the home page" mean exactly?

Sponsored servers appear in a dedicated section at the top of the Minecraft Index home page, the first thing players see when they visit. It's the highest-traffic placement on the site.

Are bids final?

Yes. All bids are final once placed. You can raise your bid at any time while the auction is open, but you cannot lower or retract a bid. Your highest bid is the one that counts.

Can I resell my sponsored slot?

You are welcome to transfer or resell your slot time to another party. However, Minecraft Index is not a party to any such arrangement and accepts no responsibility for disputes, losses, or unfulfilled agreements between private parties. Any risk from third-party transactions, including non-delivery or misrepresentation, rests entirely with the individuals involved. Minecraft Index will not mediate or intervene in private resale arrangements.
